I have only ever read wonderful reports about that jeweller in Denpasar. But then I had only ever read glowing reports about the jeweller I stupidly entrusted with my late mother-in-law's ring.

I got ripped off big time. Diamonds were replaced by smaller, inferior ones etc - it was a nightmare trying to get them replaced & never did.

Not to say that the Denpasar jeweller & others aren't honest but I won't risk having an expensive item remodelled in Bali again.

I would only ever use jewellers in Bali in future for things that don't matter much. Making old gold into new items, jewellery with czs, costume jewellery - yes, for sure.

People tend not to post about negative experiences. It was only after I posted about my rip off that people came forward with their negative experiences.

It is up to you to read all the posts, search the archives & make up your own mind. For a valuable stone I would pay the extra & have it remodelled in your home city. Worth the extra $ not to endure what I did because I was a tight ass.
