We have stayed at Kuta Puri many times in Balinese and Deluxe Bungalows and always had extra bed for teenage daughter. Never had a mattress on the floor, always the bed. Not separate rooms but we found it fine for the 3 of us, the entry to these bungalows has a small room where you can store luggage, boards etc so not as much clutter in the actual room. Think the deluxe was a little larger possibly than the Balinese Bungalows, love the semi outdoor bathrooms in both. Hope that helps.
