Most people, apart from Jet*ar management, agree that AA cancelling its Darwin/Denpasar route i very disappointing.
The fact that Jet*ar increased its schedule from 7 to 9 times a week last year and AA having daily flights (7) was just not sustainable outside of school/Christmas holiday periods.
AA reduced to 4 but in my opinion Jet*ar continued with this schedule at a loss waiting for AA buckle.
After the saturation of people moving from AA flights to Jet*ar and mid year holidays.............you wait.....from August to December there will be cancellations or schedule reductions.......
Be good if there was a journalist out there who asked the question to Jet*ar..." what have your losses been on this route?"
Anyway to AA credit they havent just stopped flights immediately like others have. My family and friends have been affected by this and it's ironic that luckily we can fly jet*ar.
