If you want to be more central, then Griya is definately the best option. Close to shops, restaurants, Hardys, beach markets. Really great location. We were there when they were full at Christmas and new year and didn't find there were lots of kids or prams. Staff friendly and helpful.
It's right on the beach although some rooms are further back on the premises but still not far to the beach.
I don't usually stay in the same place twice but it is hard to find somewhere so central but still reasonable prices.
