I have just received a phone call from AirAsia (after a very strongly worded email to them) and I advised them I wanted them to transfer my booking to Jetstar. They advised that they will get back to me within a week if they were able to secure the booking transfer with luggage.
I have checked Jetstar and they seem to have plenty of seats available, so at this stage it is a wait and see if Air Asia honour their offer.
I will post when I hear any thing further.
I believe they are reshuffling for the new Sydney flights.....so they knew about this for a loooonnnnnggg time, but still advertised specials that I took up last Friday.......very unethical which I was not shy in telling them in my email.....
So over the lack of integrity and unethical practices by the airline industry
