I probably wouldn't stay at the HR again. Not because I didn't like the hotel because it was a nice place but Kuta is just not for us.
I guess if we hadn't of had to spend so much time in the room I may have felt differently about it. Can't really advise you as to which other room to pick.
The bonus about staying in a deluxe premium is that there is another smaller private swimming pool for DP guests only which also has a jacuzzi. It is lovely and quiet there, the gardens are beautiful (and look more so at night when all lit up) and the cabanas there are free to use. There is a towel service and drink/food service available there also.
