Mara River Safari

I am wanting to book a room for 2 adults and 3 children (14, 11 and 6 years) for one night during our October trip.

Can anyone advise the best room type. Other postings have talked about upstairs being better than ground floor. Also best location for viewing the animals or are we better nearer the pool.
