When I flew with AA in December with my daughter in law a group of 3 young guys in front of us (older than schoolies but not much. Toolies?) managed to finish 2 bottles of vodka by this method. By the time we got to Denpasar they had gone from the "nice polite young fellas" stage through the "let's patronise the flight attendants" stage and the "let's say inapropriate things" stage had arrived at the let's be downright crude to AA staff stage.
It was an all female cabin crew and short of calling the captain out I guess it is hard for them to deal with 3 young guys buuilt like the proverbial brick youknowwhats. I did think about leaning forward and saying "I know your Mum and if you don't pull your head in I'm dobbing!" but thought better of it. Just my luck to pick on one who's mother had just died and he was drinking to forget his grief!
