Jalan petitenget has a lot of nice places now. Biku is great but you might need to book, good coffee and cakes as well as meals. Warung Bonita has great Indonesian meals and pretty cheap. More upmarket are potato head and sarong. Definitely sarong if you like quality Asian food.
There was a legit money changer further up jl pet (toward kerobokan) opposite side to semara 6 months ago. Guess it's still there!
Semara spa not super cheap obviously, but I like when you get the ginger tea afterwards, plus they had good magazines! Amo spa is opposite w hotel driveway, not " Bali style" but had fantastic air con. Didn't have a massage but liked their manicure and pedicure. Clippers etc came out in sealed envelopes marked sterilized. I chose to believe it.
