I used the atm at the commonwealth bank branch cnr melasti st in legian and was given choice of INDR or USD...took out 3000000 indr and calculated exchange rateused was 9260 approx.As I used a commonwealth card it gave me my ac balance in australian dollars and I was charged a $2 wdl fee..The ATMs belong to Commonwealth Bank of Indonesia not Australia(same logo and colours but) and are very widespread but some will only allow you to withdraw 1500000INR
