Re Bali Dynasty- Having stayed quite a few different hotels over the years I still have a soft spot for Bali Dynasty. Although it can get quite busy/noisy over school holidays there is always something going on. If I was travelling on my own with the kids this would be my option! The family pool view rooms are great if you want to be next to the pool.
The shopping centre is a short walk along the beach path and Waterbom is within walking distance.
10-14 days is great. Try visiting Biku for high tea (the girls would love it), going to the many spas around the area, horseriding up in Seminyak, Surf lessons on Legian beach (About $10 AUD hour), White water rafting, Shopping at Kuta/Legian markets
Bali Dynasty have a village walk once or twice a week (my 12 yo old found this really interesting!)
Have stayed at these hotels-Hard Rock, Padma, Bintang, Discovery Kartika, Ocean (Seminyak) Try going onto hotel websites for more info.
