At the end of the gold shops where there is a small but busy roundabout, there is a dirty tiled white open area.
Walk in behind the gold shop there and there are several small manufacturing and repairing places, essentially just booths with a counter.
They are cheap and honest (or have been in my dealings with them)
Any old not required stuff can be sold here as well to pay for repairs.
