It's not the cheapest, and I've not stayed anywhere else to compare it to, but I've always enjoyed staying there. Lovely gardens, nice rooms and great breakfast.
The only reason we're not staying there next time is that their room rate is 30% higher than last time and I wanted to try somewhere different (and cheaper) for a change (have booked Villa Blubambu) and also be able to afford an extra week in Ubud.
Trip Advisor is good for reviews, although they don't really specify resort or not.
