this is where goods and service not received are in disput. A Travel agent may say Oh I didnt know anything about what was going on and sold flights etc in good faith and we booked and sent our money over to Air Crappa in good faith on behalf of our clients (you), remember a Travel Agent is no different to a Real Estate Agent and we have all heard the stories about them. Hence then the bank makes the decission in the TA favour. The likes of flight centre were trying to persuade people to use other airlines or sign a waiver as one-cover had pulled the insolvency insurance. Air crappa insolvency insurance was pulled from them back in Dec. I know of a TA who is way closer to the Boss of Air Crappa than she wants to admit and would have heard things werent good but still she kept on selling tickets, looking for the big fat commission, and would never want to admit that there was a problem. Sadly for the little guy this is what goes on in the greedy business world. Hence the Global financial Crisis. I hope you have insurance that will help you out. Best of Luck
