That's my 'home turf' area in Bali and I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in that area - most of them from Jl Melasti up to Rum Jungle Road at least once. Never once been sick in Bali and I eat salads and have ice in my drinks - and eat at warungs as well as bigger restaurants.
Good breakies close by would be upstairs at La Monde, Bali Bagus, Legian Snacks and Posers on the corner of Jl Padma are all close and good food.
Any other meal, seriously just take your pick, they're all good.
