it will be the low cost terminal using Air Asia and depending on the time between flights can alter what you can do,if the flight was booked straight through i.e. coolangatta-Bali you will go to the transit lounge,has to be a connection of between 90 mins and 6 hours, if longer you have to go through immigration(which is normally painless)
There is very little in the transit/boarding lounge in our opinion inc food,so with about a 3 hour connection we go through immigration get luggage and straight away go check in for the next flight,then we walk down to the food court,2 mins, and sit in a/c comfort and have a meal then head back and into the boarding lounge for the flight.
