YAY not long now till we go-well March so getting a little excited I guess!!
This is probably our 10th trip to Bali and every other trip we have always had kids (adult/teen kids) and other family members and friends..you know what its like? and I do love having a big group of us as you get to see differnt accom and its just nice having a group to hang with...
SO this time kids tied up with work so Husband and I going for 10 days on our own..hmmmm not sure if it going to be good or a drag?? hahaha
I have booked everything myself on the net....we got $250 return per person flights with Jet*-I dont really care who I fly with as only 3hours or so BUT last time we flew with them they had NO forms to fill out on the plane which was annoying as you then have to track?! them down when you get there...not an easy task.....
We are just having a night or 2 in Legian-staying at Legian Beach Hotel which is a FAV of ours for location etc..but this time just staying in a basic room not bungalow....its close location to our fav beach bar...haha
Then we head to domestic airport and flying Lion Air to Lombok....hmmm I am not a real fan of flying but do it coz I love to travel and this is a 20 min flight...??!!
At Lombok we are staying at Jeeva Klui Hotel-booked on internet..they are also going to pick us up at airport...
While we are there we will organise a boat over to Gili as we are having a couple of nights there staying at Vila Ombak..
Then its back to Bali..
Our FAV place-the last couple of times now is up at BINGIN...just love the laid back feel of the area..
Last time we stayed at Mick's Place...this time we are staying at Rock N Reef...I booked these places thru a site called Bali Retreats and they have a list of lovely accom...
Google these places they are really lovely...not everyones "cup of tea" i guess but a lovely slow laid back pace right on the surf which we love!!
Anyway as this site has been always so "informative" in many ways?! I will let yas know what each place is like and how it all went when we get back....
Any tips or opinions on any of these places will be appreciated also..
