That will depend on whether you booked 2 seperate flights or if you booked Syd to Bali,if booked Syd to Bali you dont collect luggage or do immigration just go straight to the boarding gate area but if booked 2 seperate flights yes do immigration ,collect luggage and the check in for your bali flight.
