I went straight to BOQ this morning and filed a "Disputed Claim for Services not received" A refund is expected within two to eight weeks!!

With bankruptcy it is often first in first served, so if you need to claim do it immediately if possible.

Air Australia has a section on their site for FAQ's. Tells how to try for a refund.
If you have paid cash the only compensation will be if you have travel Insurance that covers the Airline insolvency.

Maybe you pressure NAB again for a refund as disputed claim

I booked for April in early December.


Have rebooked this morning with Virgin as replacement flights will fill fast and the word in the Travel Industry is that Virgin prices will rise quite high and quickly

Feel sad for Strategic/Air Oz and all their staff as well as those left stranded
