Thanks for your reports SarahD

Your children's swim between 12 and 4pm sounds harmless but pool noise does seem to resonate at that complex.

When we stayed at BMA last year, one thoughtless family allowed their kids to do bombies in the pool and play pool games around 7.30am. A man, who appeared to be the children's grandfather, used to throw them up in the air into the water which resulted in a lot of lots of shrieking. Let's not forget banging the pool noodles in the water.

They also used to call up from the pool and have a conversation with a person sitting on a balcony on the first floor who I guess was the mother. Although we weren't on the ground floor we could hear it all.

As an added annoyance the pool area was well and truely flooded when they had finished their swim, as if a herd of hippos had been in there. It made for a very slippery exit from the complex.

I have children of my own, and like you, would not have allowed them to make such a noise at that hour of the day, but if your children are swimming in the afternoon then there really shouldn't be an issue.
