Whenever we go to Bali the boss and I fight all the time about our kids noise. His opinion is other people are trying to enjoy their holiday and shouldnt have to put up with it. My opinion is its our bloody holiday too and providing its not too late or early and they arent being ridiculously loud just leave them to it.
Its a bug bear for us every holiday. Now we stay in villas and you can relax a little more about it as people arent using your pool. Last October we stayed in a villa where the next door neighbours were in a huge villa with lots of noisy kids - they didnt try to keep the noise down and it didnt really bother us as it was mostly in the afternoon.
Unfortunately some people expect too much when on holidays without children. Its everybodys holiday - not just theirs.
