We have stayed at the Kumala Pantailast year, in Legian, we found it to be very family friendly ,it has 2 lovely pools ,a great Italian restaurant, with many nice restaurants within walking distance. It is on Legian beach,which is patrolled and much better than the jayakarta for less dollars.Check their website,it is very popular with Aussies.
