from our experiance everytime we book cns - dps we choose the early flight then it is always changed by jetstar to the later flight. we have tried to get answers from jetstar but no luck on the call centres, did speak to a jetstar girl in darwin who said the only way to be on the early flight is booking cns to dwn then booking dwn to dps but upon check in in cairns ask to be checked all the way to denpasar and just wait in the international transfer lounge. its so frustrating when you are in darwin watching that early flight depart while you wait 4 hrs for the late flight. good luck with the flights either way its all good. If you do get bumped off onto the later flight just grab the shuttle bus to the airport resort n you can hang out there for a few hours we enjoy it better than just hanging at the airport. Staff are friendly, bar n food very nice enjoy!
