The underground house in Lembongan Village
On Nusa Cenningan, a separate island that you can get to via the suspension bridge mentioned in Smegles post, there is a government owned bird's nest (sarang burung "bird's nest" or sarang walet "swallow's nest") harvesting operation on the cliffs at the west (?) of the island. The collectors get lowered into the caves with a dodgy cradle setup, they used to lose a few each year.
There is yet another island next door, Penida, that I also love but that is a whole other story. You can spend a week there (I have several times) and only scratch the surface.
