OK so we were getting back on Friday but how much can one girl do!! Friday began with an two breakfasts as our villa has two lovely ladies to look after us who have little english and we have no blainese between us. We tried to explain that we had already eaten but they just smiled and continued to cut up fruit etc. so we ate again. Into dolphin to order leather and get the business side over with. Then Mugshots. M and I are on a mission to find the best iced coffee in asia. We have been going for ten years and have had some very interesting contenders who have scored in the minus , but I am happy to say that mugshots was an 8/10, putting some big smiles on dials. Uluwatu was the afternoon but I really don't think anyone saw much as we we all making so much noise trying to get a word in sideways that we forgot to look!! Miss america was worried about the rabies and was the only one that ended up with a monkey on her head, but I must say she handelled it with great decorum which cannot be said for the rest of us. Made, our guide chases us aroun everywhere and gets a bit exasperated when the noise and laughter is so loud he can't get anyones attention.
We really did try to eat at Zanzibars but only made it as far as the bintang supermarket before the skies opened on us and we made a hasty retreat back to cafe seminyak. We were all so wet we looked like drowned rats but all saw the funny side of the night and took heaps of silly photos. Can't waste a good photo op. The villa was the best place for us after that and we drank cocktails (too old for more than one at a time)and danced our way round the place to some really good music, and before you think it, no we didn't play abba!! You know, these new girls of ours are so much fun that I just don't want to give them back. I wonder if I can fit them into my handluggage?
