We also take cash. I separate it into daily amounts into envelopes which are then numbered so I can keep an eye on it. One for my keeping track of how much I spend and if we go over our daily amount. Two so we can make sure none goes missing from our room safe. Also take credit card to pay remaining of our accommodation at the end of our stay. Never had any go missing from room safe.
