Hi, This is the 4th time in Ubud and my first attempt to do this HNR. Please be patient.
Left Brissie at 7am with hubby and older son. We had a great run and were there in plenty of time. Checked in then off to do some duty free shopping.Wow didn't tsake long to spend lots of $$$.
We had a coffee then at 10am we boarded our flight. We had bad news that there was no entertainment on board, but the good news was that we were going direct and no stop over in Darwin. WIN WIN I thought. We arrived at 2:15pm Bali time which was great. Straight through to VOA. Paid in Aussie dollars $78 for the 3 of us and got rupiah in change. Straight through immigration then on to get bags and of course they were not there. 10 or so min we were off again. All up about 25 min. Our best yet. Driver was there and off we went in the pouring rain,had to walk down a walk way, bit long but ok.
traffic was bearable to ubud.
Went to the villa Cantik, behind Mendez. Lovely place. Unpacked then off to Bintang for our supplies. Home for a drink then to Mendez Warung for dinner. We ordered 2 Lumpia and 3 nasi with 2 juices, 1 sml Bintang and a diet coke all for 220,000rp. Around $23.00 Back to the villa and home in a minute. Great being soo close.
