different experiences/preferences to each other at the same places isn't it but I guess it's what makes us all different, would be boring if we all thought the same way.
I felt the same way at Kori's - while nothing wrong with the meal I thought it was expensive and over-rated.
Our experience at Ducks Nutz was completely different. We were very happy with it and ate there twice in our trip to Sanur. Meals were cheap and great, especially for the kids. The manager there was also very helpful to us as our youngin was quite sick and gave us some very helpful advice.
I think we may have used the same moneychanger, sounds like it from the description.
I've done the airport thing twice now by myself with my two young boys when my husband wasn't travelling with us and had no problem either time and didn't find it too much of a drama. Sure, it's a bit of a walk but fairly easy to work out and it's fully covered. My 5 yr old hates walking more than ~10m but he did it with minimal complaining! It seems to flow fairly well with most people understanding the keep left rule.
Thanks for taking the time to do your JBR. An informative, interesting and honest review of your trip. A shame about your nephew getting dengue. I assume you think he got it in the first few days? I nearly cancelled our recent trip cause of the dengue risk which seems alot more common of late. We went though and 'touch wood', nothing yet so hopefully we're in the clear. Hopefully he is well on the way to recovery! : )
