Eat Street is Jalan Oberi (Laksmana) Get up onto Jalan turn left away from Kuta, go up to the T, turn left and first right. This is the start of eat street. have a wonder along and see what takes your fancy.
Some standouts are Ultimo (Italian), but book a few days in advance as it is very busy. Trattoria is another great Italian (again Book)Mykinos is a great greek. Cafe Bali is a very good Cafe style and great for Lunch.
There is also a German Restaurant and beer garden behind Ultimo that i have heard about, which I will try in July.
Also not in Eat street but near you is the beach strip at the bottom of Double 6. Turn left and there are Zanzibar, Lanai, Seaside and a few others. Turn right and the are heaps of Warungs on the beach which are fun, you can sit on bean bags on the beach.
