the disease was contagious. Said it could get spread around. Can only be transmitted by a bite. By you getting bitten again and then it being spread into the community. Read up on it. I live in Cairns, we have Dengue here and all know that if someone in the area has a dose of Dengue, the Tropical Health Deptment want to know. They send out their crew and spray your house, leave baits, ask you not to go outside at dusk and dawn and then check and leave baits in your area. Notifing people in the neighbourhood that someone is infected in your area. That, and the fact that you can get very sick is why I said get to the Doctor. Apparently this person I have been informed lives in Tasmania. Didn't know that vital piece of information, but perhaps other people may be interested in having this information to hand.
