I'm understanding that small children will not always behave how we wish on a flight, and while I might wish they weren't disturbing me, I can live with it.
What I can't take, however, is children of any age being allowed to kick my seat constantly from behind, or standing on their seats and pulling on the back of my headrest - and also on my hair the whole time... and their parents doing NOTHING to stop it.
Most parents try to do the right thing. It's the few who switch off and don't bother that ruin it for others on the flight. You can't blame a kid for getting away with what his parents will allow him/her to do.
