and then when they are old enough to travel they aren't aware that other countries have different laws and customs and get themselves in trouble.
We are fortunate that we can afford to have a couple of overseas holidays each year with our very young children and the impact this has on their outlook to the world is amazing.
I'm sure the local caravan park can offer some sort of benefit but we chose to spend our time as a family exploring new places in the world and experiencing different cultures.
My husband and I have also experienced some beautiful places in australia but anyone that is reasonably well travelled will know it's 6 hour flight between east and west coast of australia so why not fly to bali in the same amount of time and enjoy ourselves (sydney) or somewhere else in south east asia... not to mention it is cheaper...
I'll leave touring australia to when I'm a grey nomad and have unlimited time to travel around.
