I 4th the m/changer at the start of P2 on the left. Little shop with a Kodak/photo both at back. Never a problem there.
Around the area we ate at:
La Porchetta - go right down Jl Legian down towards Melasti St. Was surprisingly good food, inexpensive and a crepe suzette type dessert that I've been back for since even tho not staying in that area!
Un's & TJ's (mexican) - turn left and down Jl Legian to a small laneway that leads into P1. Un's is the 1st little laneway off to your left down there. I love this place. TJ's for good mexican is just a little further down P1.
Down P2, Bagus Pub as mentioned - 'bloody cold beer' is the advertisement on their wall, at it is!
Kori's is down on the left. Expensive for Bali standards and whilst it was ok I haven't been back but many people rave about it.
Also down P2, on the left down a laneway near the 'big wave' is Tubes. Nice food and VERY cheap.
Other cheapies down P2 are: Alley Cats, Rainbow Cafe, Piggy's Bar (for the hamburgers) and Warung 96 - just off P2.
