Hi There, my friend had her hair straightened only last week at the beauty salon/spa thing next door to "Mugshot Coffee" in Jln Padma Utara. I don't know the name, but it is literally right next door.
She has JUST below shoulder length hair and it took two people about 3 hours to do. I noticed when i had a cream bath there that they use "Loreal Extenso" which is the EXACT same product that i had done to my hair in Sydney at a cost of about $450 dollars!!!!!!! My hair is a bit longer tho, and quite thick.
They did a fantastic, thorough and great job, her hair looks amazing!!! She has since arrived home, washed it etc and it is straight and perfect! She loves it and will simply go back to Bali to have it done again, if for no other reason LOL. It cost her AU$40.... yes, that is right FORTY DOLLARS!!!! I couldn't believe it!! SO CHEAP.
You know when you have this done, that you CANNOT get your head wet, your hair wet, work up a sweat on your scalp, tie it back any way with clip elastic or anything, can't put it behind your ears, can't put your sunnies on your head.... NOTHING for three full days. This is to allow the straightening to "set". The longer you can handle this the better the result. so if you can handle 4 days then do that! I've had it done in Oz about 4 times myself. It is awwesome and you won't regret it one little bit.
