Hi Markat, we stayed at the HRH twice last year - 7n in Jan & 4n at Xmas. First time there was 2A,3C and we were booked in a Loft room but was lucky enough to be upgraded to a brand new kids suite so can't tell you what the loft room was like!
This time we stayed in one of the renovated deluxe rooms. This was fine too. On reception level (which is 3rd floor) behind reception and the band area.
Never heard the bands either time and as the rooms are not really at the front where the band section is I'm not sure they would bother you.
B/F is a huge spread with anything you could think of there catering to all food types including Japanese.
We used to stay at the Dynasty a few years ago but I think the HRH is soooo much better. Pools are amazingly huge, waterslide area for kids at entrance end and then another kids play area way around the other side.
Don't know if you've got kids and how old but they also have a kids club. You pay a set fee to use for the duration of your stay but included in that price is free soft drink/juice/water in their own drink bottle that they supply you, free lunch in kids club, activities t/out the day including rock wall climbing, cooking and games and a beach party each arvo with games and dancing. Kids also eat free from their nightly buffet with 1 paying adult which makes it quite cheap to eat dinner there.
Of course drinks and food around the pool is not cheap but I didn't find it excessive for that standard of hotel either. (ps. they check your bag on way in to pool so you can't bring food or drinks down).
I think you'd like your stay here. Our kids lovvvvved it both times : )
