I have mentioned before that I'm not overly impressed with the breakfast at the KP. The scrambled eggs are good (if you ask for them made fresh) and the bacon is how I like it (cooked to within an inch of it's life LOL). There is only so much bacon & scrambled eggs I can eat though, given that I'm lucky to eat it once every 6 months at home.
This morning I opt for nasi goreng with a side of sweet & sour chicken. Hubby does that raising his eyebrows thing again, just like he did at the Novotel when I had chocolate bread pudding. I don't care, if it tastes good then eat it - no matter what the time of day!

After breakfast I head out & up to Seminyak. I have an appointment at Jari Menari for a massage and I leave a bit early to have a look in the shops. The only thing I'm tempted to buy is for Miss 5 - the cutest dress with a soft tulle layered skirt in Dandelion. Unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet!) they don't have it in her size. They have some beautiful kids clothes & accessories but they are expensive.

I head back to Jari Menari for 75 minutes of pure bliss. I LOVE this place & I'm extremely grateful to those here on the BTF that have recommended it in their JBRs. It is not a "relaxation" massage per se, there is pain involved, but that is how I like it. They really do the "best massage in Bali" IMO, just like their sign says :-)
I am so impressed that I book hubby in for the following day. I also buy one of their sarongs - the black with white bamboo - the same as they give you to wrap up in to walk from the change rooms.

I decide to walk back partway & stop off at Lilla Lane to buy another pair of shoes (not that I need them, I just can't help myself LOL).
I also fall in love with a solid silver cuff bracelet in Disini, but it costs US $850 OUCH!!! The saleslady tells me how nice it looks on me - "I know" I reply "but I'll have to ask hubby to buy it". Fat chance I am thinking. LOL

I also find a really great linen dress in the Biasa 50% off store but it is too small across the bust. I start thinking that I could buy it - but only if I also book myself into ARC for a breast reduction LOL.

I get a bit past Bintang supermarket & then decide I'd better get into a taxi. We've booked to go to Biku for afternoon tea & I'll need to shower & change beforehand.

So glad I finally made it to Biku, and glad I skipped lunch too!
Yum, yum, yum. Great value for money. Miss 5 was also impressed with her kids afternoon tea. I will definitely be back at Biku in the future, and will try lunch or dinner next time.

After we get back to the hotel, I pick up the stroller for Miss 5 and we head off for "a lap around the block". Up Rum Jungle Rd to pick up my wedges from Nizar and the sandals for Miss 15, along Jl Legian.
I stop at a gift shop called Felicity and buy some round coloured mosaic coasters for RP 20,000 ea. These were also on my "must buy" list but I can only get 6 and I need 8 :-( Hope I can pick up some more in the next few days.

Down Double 6 we go & buy some Vans for Miss 15 (RP 180,000) and some leather & fabric plaited bracelets also for Miss 15 at a shop called Love jewellery.

Back to the hotel for a room service dinner. We are not that hungry so order 1 margherita pizza for the 3 of us to share. The pizzas are really good at the KP we decide :-)

Hubby gets a call from his friend Jude to say they are up at the Boomerang bar if he wants to join them but he is already showered & in bed reading. Jude calls him a banana bending fairy & says we'll catch up tomorrow LOL
