here is another idea. Make drinking straws from ice. Here is a link to one at amazon.
I'm an international school teacher in Indo and looking at projects for my kids to get involved with for helping environment. We'll raise money to buy the ice tray molds then give to restaurants.
Ice straws would be good, no plastic trash, no chemicals leaching into your drink. they are cool, you can use food colour to make interesting, excellent for cocktails.
tell restaurants to break the ice straws when clearing dishes to no one thinks they are being reused.
