I have a nice sleep in today, it's 7.15 before I wake up :-) The block out curtains in the KP rooms really do the trick!

We have breakfast & then I decide to head up Rum Jungle Rd for a bit of shopping. I have had my heart set on some bedlinen from Popo since 2009! That trip I only discovered the shop on our last day or two & didn't have time to custom order the colour combo I wanted. I order a queen size cover, with beautiful tree embroidery & coordinating bed runner, 2 large & 2 small cushion covers for RP 1.1M.
It only takes 3 days to have a custom order made so it will be ready on Sat morning, before we head to the Risata in Tuban.

I then walk a bit further up the road to Nizar Collection, for my favourite kind of retail therapy - shoe shopping! I buy a pair of suede flat sandals for RP 250,000 (have already taken them for a road test - very comfy!!) and order a pair of orange leather wedges in size 42 to pick up tomorrow (RP 300,000). I take a pic of some sandals to send to my stepdaughter back in Oz to see if she likes them (bloody fussy teenagers you can never tell!).

On the way back down to the hotel, I stop at a stall selling silver decor stuff and buy a metal tree to use as a jewellery stand. This was one of the "must buy" items on my shopping list so I am happy to cross it off. I bought the medium size tree for RP 190,000. Could probably have got it for less but I didn't bother haggling as I was more than happy to pay $21 for it (nearly bought one at SOGO for RP 330,000 and they are selling for $60-$70 at home).

While I am out I get a call from our friend Johnny and he says he's at work until 3.00pm so when I get back I suggest to hubby we head up to Shandy's for lunch and to say hello. Miss 5 has her favourite avocado & cheese toasted sandwich, I had a Tijuana wrap (sweet chilli chicken, avocado, cheese, lettuce & sour cream) and hubby has Mie Goreng. We also have a juice & 4 small beers. RP 250,000

While eating lunch, I notice a sign across the road at Carla Spa offering a special on eyelash extensions - RP 75,000. I decide to head over & ask if I can get it done while hubby has another beer. 15 mins & $8 later I have the eyelashes I wish I was born with :-)
Unfortunately, they don't tell me until it's finished that I can't get them wet for 2 days!! Hubby suggests that I should wear Miss 5's swimming goggles in the shower LOL. They are still mostly intact - have lost 1 lash from each eye but otherwise all good.

We get back to the hotel, have a swim & then I decide to walk down to Mozzarella by the Sea and book a table for dinner. The waiter tells me they have a 2 for 1 happy hour on cocktails. "What time?" I ask him "All day" he replies. You've got to love Bali!!

We head off to dinner at 7.00pm. We have 2 lychee martinis, 2 Mojitos, a juice, a water, duck spring rolls, a half portion of spaghetti with tomato & cheese sauce, lamb shank in red wine with papiardelle pasta, squid with basil & chilli sauce. RP 450,000.
The meals were great, so were the half price cocktails. It was really nice & cool sitting under the louvred pergola - no rain so it was open. It's one of the first un-airconditioned restaurants I've sat in without breaking out in a sweat :-) I highly recommend it for dinner.
