Daughter stayed there over Xmas as they wanted a large hotel which might have good facilities. I don't know much about GBB despite always staying in Sanur.

So the baby couldn't sleep for 3 nights as the A/C was broken in their room. Daughter asked and asked for it to be fixed to be told by the engineer it was OK so management said "it's ok" except room temp was 29 hot wet and uncomfortable. We took baby to Besakih and great staff put a cot in our room so he could sleep. Then we all went to see manager and I went balistic...room change..same area working A/C. The loo hadn't worked in the room either but that was a minor problem compared to the hot wet air coming from the A/C.

The rooms are very tired, the pool tiles are cracked, broken and green mouldy in areas. The general feel of the hotel is decay and a couple who were moved from their room to the cottages cos their A/C wasn't working either had to move from the cottages when the ceiling collapsed on their bed. I guess if none of these things bother you then it is a good location of what was once obviously a very very grand hotel.
We did stay there once on a layover and got the presidential suite which was very 70's but an amazing suite.
I wouldn't stay there ..daughter won't stay there again and I doubt the lovely people who had a ceiling on their bed won't stay there again either :)
There are much better choices in Sanur and it is time the hotel was either split up into manageable areas or knocked down.
