It is plain irresponsible for journalists to misquote like this, or if it is not a misquote, for the doctor to state this. It is misinformation and causes unnecessary fear. My parents constantly worry about the time I spend in Indonesia and I'm sure their fears are stirred up by this type of rubbish.
