there is a lot of info on Nyepi. It is a Balinese holy day and if it inconveniences tourists, they have chosen the wrong time to visit Bali. You are not allowed onto the beach or outside of your hotel.
Nothing outside of the hotels operates. Things start getting back to 'normal' late the next day or the day after when the Balinese return from their villages. Why not email the Mandira to see what they offer?
I have been three times for Nyepi. Once many years ago in Sanur and we had no idea of what Nyepi was. More recently twice when staying in Legian. Windows at our hotel that faced the street were blacked out, the only lights around the pool were candles. It was quite beautiful and so peaceful. You just need to have some movies to watch and books to read and plenty of snacks and drinks.
