We were considering staying here and was offered an excellent rate by the hotel. We know it is about 15 mins from Ubud centre but there is a shuttle service. Our issue was that we enjoy walking and wanted to discover the surrounding villages on foot, but research seemed to imply there are many angry dogs - which was a total put off for us. If this isn't an issue for you I would go for it.
