Although the apartment at Nusa Dua was fantastic, the family accommodation they have at Benoa would suit as well. I think I'd like Benoa for the ease of getting to restaurants, shops & spas compared to Nusa Dua.
If you like the beach, the beach at Nusa Dua is much nicer though. I don't usually bother with the beach while in Bali, but I did actually swim a few times at Nusa Dua and the beach club there is great.
There are pros & cons to both places (as with most things!). If you want a few days just to hang out at a nice resort & not leave it too much then Nusa Dua is probably for you. If you like to get out, have a wander around a few shops & go to restaurants within an easy walk then Benoa will suit you better.
