Would recommend telling newbies to not let porters touch bags, I have heard of them demanding large amounts of cash. I tell all newbies to organise own bags as we do. Think taxi stand still there, make sure they get a blue taxi and check that the meter works. If you need I have a driver who can meet them there if you want his mobile. I can pass it on
