we stayed August 2011, the noise from the bands in all the restaurants goes straight up as the bedroom is upstairs and the sliding doors don't really seal to keep the noise out. If you have trouble getting to sleep it can be a problem (like me) but my husband seemed to get to sleep ok, but did complain about it too. Location is great but wouldn't stay there again, maybe take earplugs!
