Been going over there for the past 10 years, over the last 3 years the development has really taken off with lots more restaurants and accommodation to stay at as well.
My husband surfs which is the main reason we go there however there is plenty of other things to do. Diving is meant to be great, I don't dive however have snorkelled which was great. There are little massage places that have popped up so you can get a massage if you look carefully. Seaweed farming is the main source of income for the island so you can do a tour of that which is interesting. Highly recommend hiring a motorbike and just exploring yourself.
We have stayed at a few different places, depends what you are after - if you want 4/5 star, Indiana Kenanga is one of the best places apparently, i thought it was a little overrated when we stayed last year. However plenty of other good value places.
