ALWAYS be extra vigilant in the wet season - mozzies are more prevalent then. You should wear strong repellent at all times - Dengue Fever can be life threatening & those mozzies bite mostly during the day.

You should also avoid wearing dark colours, scents of any kind (eg scented deodorant, soap, perfume) which attract mozzies. Buy a big can of insect repellent & spray your room often. If there is a gap under the door, put something across it.

I never go to Bali in the wet, not only because I can't stand the humidity, but also because there are more mozzies around as well as more illness - just read some recent JBRs.

Mid June is my favourite time. But I still do everything I can to avoid being bitten by mozzies.
