At night, take a table at the Maacaroni Club near the footpath and watch the world go by in Jalan Legian, Kuta. You can visit nearby bars and nightclubs later in the evening.
During the day in Ubud, go to a cooking class. In the evening go to the Jazz Cafe, also in Ubud.
Stay overnight in Padang Bai and go scuba diving, next day. At night try the Zen Bar, also in Padang Bai.
Book a surfing trip from one of surf shops in Poppies 2 Lane inKuta.
