The point about tripadviser reviews is that they are not made by professional reviewers who have a standard method of review, but by people like yourself and one man's meat is another man's poison. Frankly I believe it pays to take any "peer reviews" sites like Trip Adviser with a bloody big grain of salt.
From looking at the ad the property was certainly not presented honestly and if it was me I would be writing direct to Trip Adviser asking them to get the owner to clarify a couple of points like the property not having it's own pool. Your post is there for all to read and so are the photos, which show a pretty basic place with aircon in the bedrooms but no overhead fans. An honest owner would have also shown photos of the kitchen - and to be fair your review should have mentioned the bathroom, even if it was to say it was the only acceptable room.
You have made your point about the place which will make other potential renters aware of the real situation.
A common thread running through many posts is that you get what you pay for so no point in venting on them.
