I'd have to agree with a previous poster - you may have missed your chance for the really cheap deals, especially with Air Asia. We are going in Feb, booked in Feb 2011 and got 4 return flights with baggage etc for $660. Went in August 2011, booked that one in Nov 2010 and got cheap flights then as well.
It seems you need to book almost 12 months ahead to get the really cheap deals.
